Go West to play at Rochester Castle Concerts

gowest-hiresI was excited to hear yesterday that, finally, Go West are to play at this year’s Rochester Castle Concerts on 19th July 2013.

During my early formative years, Peter Cox and Richard Drummie’s songs provided the soundtrack to my youth. Hitting the charts World-wide with timeless pop classics such as We Close Our Eyes, Call Me and The King of Wishful Thinking, Go West continue to delight live audiences everywhere with their brand of catchy, feel-good, blue-eyed soul.

I was privileged to manage Go West’s online presence some years ago, and also got to perform with the guys at one of their special ‘Fandango’ weekends.

9435Go West live are as good today as they were in the 80s. Both Peter Cox and Richard Drummie remain consummate professionals, with Peter releasing his fifth solo album ‘Riding The Blinds’ this week – Click Here To Purchase.

With Status Quo returning to rock  Rochester on 17th July, this year’s Castle Concerts line-up is looking to be the best one yet. I look forward to welcoming Peter and Richard, and Westies everywhere, to Rochester this summer.

Be there!
